Chocolate covered coke bottle!!

Today i’m going to explain how Genius hour works. Genius hour is like a project that you are going to be working on all term or so.
First you pick a partner. You and your partner discuss what you are going to be doing. It can be anything from D.I.Y to posters, cooking, etc.
Secondly you and your partner pick something to do. Once you have picked something you then research about it.
Thirdly you plan what you need to bring if you're cooking or D.I.Y etc.
Lastly when you have finished planning you start to make it and you present it to your class.

So that is what Genius hour is..
This term we are doing Genius hour and this is what my partner and I are doing.

I did it!

Last week at the E-learning Symposium I learnt how to do coding on Code.org. At first I didn't know what I was doing but when I got into it started getting fun. When I finished level 15 I was happy I completed it. The fun thing about this was creating my own map. The challenging thing about this was coding but it was also fun too.

Maths strategy

This slide is about my maths learning. First i explained the strategy and how i got the answer by using place value and explained how i did it. The challenging thing about this was me explaining how i got the answer and doing step by step of the strategy. The reason why i'm learning about this is because it can help me in the future. The fun part about this was designing the slide.
